Higher Ground is a great group of folks who rent our camp facilities to run a week long inter-denominational co-ed Christian summer camp. They do LOTS of volunteer work for us every year and we REALLY appreciate all that they do for us! Click on the picture to the left to see what they have done to help us!

Southern ConcreteCarolina Ready Mix and Grovestone have all been very generous in helping us build a volleyball court/metal detecting pit. Southern Concrete donated 2 loads of yellow sand, Grovestone greatly discounted the black screening that goes on the bottom of the pit and Carolina Ready Mix discounted the white sand and delivered it for free!

We also had 2 companies donate sod to put around "the pit". Carolyn at Super Sod donated 2 palettes and Bill from Landsaver Landscaping donated the delivary. It looks great!

Supersod of Hendersonville

For the Day of Caring, Asheville Metro Sewer Facilities Department came out and did more with 5 guys in one day then I could have imagined! Thet cleared a wooded area and built us an amphitheater! It has a stafe, fire pit and 9-10 benches. At the end of the day, they had alittle extra time so they stained the extention on the back deck of the Mountain View Lodge. Thank you guys SO MUCH!! All Signs and Letters in Asheville had donated many signs to us and will be doing some new signs for our new building. Dave (the owner) is a great guy and enjoys working with non-profits. Click below to get information on his business.

Silverman's Co. in Asheville gave us the gravel at cost and free delivery. This gravel was used to finish our parking lot, creat a new road away from the girl's cabins and fix our drainage problem infront of the director's cabin.

Samantha with American Changer/ Hoffman Mint out of Florida sent a 30 pound box containing a variety of coins, medallions and medals that she hand picked herself. These items will be used in our Treasure Pit for kids to discover and enjoy! For more info on what they do, click below.
