Swannanoa opened it's doors in 1929, that means there are ALOT of people who have learned, grown and explored these grounds. When the staff house burned down in 2005, many of the memories of the past unfortunately went with it. We are trying to bring the history back and reconnect with those who built the foundation that the Swannanoa spirit was built on. We will be creating a bi-annual electronic newsletter for alumni staff called the Swannanoa Spirit. If you would like to be a part of that please email us at the email listed at the bottom of the page to be added to the list. We want to hear about the old traditions and stories that make Swannanoa so dear to your heart, so please share them with us so we can share them with the future generations to come. We want to create an alumni database to keep our previous staff and campers intouch with things going on at camp.
