Our historic lodge was built in 1929. It can hold up to 150 people eating or more for a meeting. It is a winterized building that would be great for a non-traditional meeting space or decorated for a holiday party. It also contains a historic wooden bar that is great for reception. The lodge will be under renovation this coming year. It will be unavailable from mid-December till September 2010. The back area of our lodge is particularly interesting. During WWII, our camp was turned into an Army Hopsital and POW camp. The German soldiers who had masonry skills built our back patio and grill. This is a beautiful place for a wedding or small gathering. |

Our cabins are 3 season cabins that will sleep up to 18 in bunk beds. They have indoor restrooms and showers. They are perfect for a rustic touch to your fall retreat. 2 of the cabins will be under renovation from December till May 2010. They will be ADA compliant and heated to become 4 season! Our new Mountain View Lodge is finally complete. It sleeps up to 30 bunkbed style, has 5 bathrooms, a full domestic kitchen and spacious living room. Iit is perfect for a small conference or family retreat! Click on the photo to see more! |

We have an authentic cabin that housed 5 generations of Cherokee Indians. In 1984, the cabin was moved to our property. It is used to teach Appalachian and Cherokee heritage. |
Our kitchen is large and easily maneuverable. It can be rented along with the property. It had a large walk in cooler, freezer, gas oven and range. There is a seperate area for washing dishes too. |

We have a large and welcoming pool that sits at the lower end of the camp. It has a great view out to the mountains overlooking the playing field. You can provide your own staff or ask us to help! Jump in! |
We also have an awesome 45 foot climbing tower! It offers several different climbs to suite many levels of ability. We have to provide the facilitators for this, so if you are interested ask us when you book. |

Our rec hall can accomodate large groups. It is a 3 season building with a large open space. It has restrooms and large windows for a variety of activities. |

We are a natural playground waiting to be discovered! We have almost 5 miles of trails to hike. We also have a large playing field, creek to explore and a basketball court. |

Up high on a nearby mountain is a shelter that you can hike to and camp at, have lunch or just enjoy the view. It can be approached by many different routes and has great views. It's great way to get the groups heart rate up! |

Our fire circle is the perfect place to reflect on your time here at Swannanoa. It is tucked into the treeline and offers a stage for outdoor performances or logs to sit and sing around the crackling logs. |
